This piece was produced for the December Gnomon Workshop image challenge, and was awarded a runner up prize. The brief was simply 'Winter treehouse', and my interpretation of the brief was to emulate the features of a natural tree in a mechanical sci-fi style treehouse. Produced in Photoshop, it was a fun challenge and encouraged me to think beyond a literal translation of the topic.
